Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was he on the
23rd day of February 1981 . The following members
were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoy -t --,"Neils, Schneider & Threinen
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 130
REPEALING RESOLUTION 80-929 AND APPROVING
1981-1983 LABOR CONTRACT WITH
LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES, INC.,
POLICE SERGEANTS
WHEREAS, the City Manager, representing the City, and representatives of Law
Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. representing police sergeants, have met to
negotiate terms and conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager previously submitted a report to the City Council
regarding the provisions of a proposed agreement which were adopted by the
Council on Decenber 15, 1980 by Resolution No. 80-929; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said report, sergeants requested the reopening of
negotiations to settle certain matters requiring clarification; and
WHEREAS, resolution of all issues has occurred and City Council adoption of a
revised 1981-1983 labor agreement has been recommended by the City Manager in
a report dated February 18, 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the labor contract negotiated between the City of Plymouth and
Law Enforcement Labor Services Inc., for the period of January 1, 1981 through
December 31, 1983 be and the same is hereby approved; and
FURTHER, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to execute the labor
agreement on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport. Councilmamh�Hnyt.

Time following voted against orabstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
