Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heT3 on the
23rd day of Februar, 1981 . The following members were
present_ Mayor Davenport, Counci members Hoyt, Neils, Schneider & Threinen.
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a opt on:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-127
ESTABLISHING POLICY RELATIVE TO SURFACING OF PARKING FACILITIES FOR APPROVED
TEMPORARY REAL ESTATE SALES OFFICES IN MODEL HOMES
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance in Section 7, Subdivision F allows for
temporary real estate sales offices in model homes, and requires the submittal
of a site plan showing appropriate parking facilities; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered whether appropriate dust free
surfacing other than bituminous paving is appropriate for such temporary parking
facilities and has recommended that alternative dust free surfacing as approved
by the City Engineer be allowed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does adopt..as policy the provision that
alternative dust free surfacing as approved by the City Engineer may be used for
approved parking facilities for temporary real estate sales offices in model
homes as provided in Section 7 of the Zoning Ordinance;
FURTHER, be it hereby resolved that City staff is directed to incorporate the
policy into the Zoning Ordinance at such time that the ordinance is revised.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in favor t ereo yor Davenport, Councilmember Hoyt,
Neils, Schneider & Threinen ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
