HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-121CITY OF PLYMDUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M nnesota, was he-Td—on the 23rd day of — February 19 81 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Counci members Hoyt, Neils, Schneider & Threinen The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0, 81-121 TERMINATING SANITARY SEWER SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF MEDICINE LAKE WHEREAS, the Cities of Plymouth and Medicine Lake on September 11, 1967 entered into an agreement and addendum thereto relating to the connection of the Medicine Lake sanitary sewer system to the Plymouth sanitary sewer system; and WHEREAS, both Cities now desire to terminate the 1967 agreement and addendum; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and the same are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement with Medicine Lake terminating the agreement and addendum thereto dated October 11, 1967; and FURTHER, pay to the City of Medicine Lake the sum of $18,068.00 from the sanitary sewer fund to reimburse the City of Medicine Lake for sanitary sewer treatment charges paid by it to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for the period 1971 through 1980.
