HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-114CITY OF PLYMOUTH M Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of February , 19 81 . The following members were present: mayor Davenport, Coun=Tmembers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider & Threin The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved Its a opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 81-114 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT AND REVISED GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR "WILLOW GROVE 2ND ADDITION" FOR WALLACE FREEMAN (80048) WHEREAS, Wallace Freeman has requested approval of a preliminary plat and revised general development plan for "Willow Grove 2nd Addition" for land north of Betty Crocker Drive and east and west of Nathan 'ane; and, WHEREAS, the revised general development plan has been submitted in lieu of a general development plan approved by the City under Resolution No. 76-234; and, WHEREAS, the request has been reviewed by the Planning Commission at duly called Public Hearings and has been recommended for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the preliminary plat and revised general development plan for Wallace Freeman for "Willow Grove 2nd Addition" consisting of multi -residential and commercially zoned land north of Betty Crocker Drive and east and west of Nathan Lane subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum for this project. 2. Development of the property is subject to final site plan approvals; applic- able environmental review regulations; and the requirements of Section 6 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding General Flood Plain District. 3. Payment of park dedication fees and provision for any necessary trail easements shall be made with final site plan approvals. 4. Development plans shall be subject to review by the Bassett Creek Watershed District. 5. No building permits shall be issued until final plat has been filed with Hennepin County. 6. Any land acquired by this petitioner through the pending street vacation request at the south end of Quaker Lane shall be incorporated into this plat (northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1). 7. Future curb cut access along the east side of Nathan Lane shall be aligned with approved access point along the west side of Nathan Lane. Resolution # 81-114 Page 2 8. Removal of all dead or diseased trees from the property at the owner's expense. 9. Approval of this general development plan does not approve specific curb cuts other than those referred to in Condition 7 and must await approval of specific development site plans. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing voted an ravor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils.
