HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-096CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heT3 on the 2nd day of February , 19 81. The following members were present: ayor DaFe—nport, councilmembers Hot Neils, Schneider & Threinen . The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-96 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT ON PILGRIM LANE FROM 26TH AVE. TO NATHAN LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, a petition has been received from eight property owners requesting the improvement of Pilgrim Lane from 26th Ave. to Nathan Lane by construction of a bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary drainage facilities; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.0111 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvements are feasible and as to whether they should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such improvements as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n favor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, ine roiiowing voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.-
