HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-083CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of February , 1981 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, CounciTmembers Hot Neils Schneider & Thl:einen. The following members were a Fe-nt None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-83 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATIOPI OF 15TH AVE., 16TH AVE., KIRKWOOD LN., JONQUIL LN., IVES LN. AND 119TH ST. IN BEACON HEIGHTS 2ND ADDN. NORTH OF THE MINNESOTA WESTERN RAILROAD WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Fred Jones has petitioned the City Council for a vacation of the following street: 15th Ave., 16th Ave., Kirkwood Ln., Jonquil Ln., Ives Ln. and 119th St. in Beacon Heights 2nd Addn. north of the Minnesota Western Railroad AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to be in order; ` NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of March 2, 1981 A 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boule- vard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Counc�ilmembgrHoy, and upon vote being taken thereon, the �ofTWi ng voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils��Schneider & Threinen Ine Toi:owIng voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe
