Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-47
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PARK CONSULTANTS FOR
THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THREE PARKS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth intends to use the services of consulting
engineers to perform professional services in the construction of Mission,
Timber Shores and Schmidt Lake Parks during the 1981 construction season,
and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission recommends the selection
of Design Consortium to provide the City with such services based upon an
analysis of proposals received from four consulting firms,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Design Consortium be named park consultant
for the construction of Mission, Timber Shores and Schmidt Lake Parks
with the design service fees not to exceed $17,237, and that $225,000
be transferred from the Public Works.Reserve Fund into the Construction
Fund for the development of Mission, Timber'Shores, and Schmidt Lake
Parks.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon rote being taken thereon, the
following r0 n favor thereof: Mayor Davenoort, Councilmahers Hnyt„
Neils Schneider and Threinen

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass!d and adopted,
