HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-041CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he on the 19th day of January , 1981 . The following members were present: mayor Davenport, Councilmem ers Ho t, Neils, Schneider & Threinen The following members were absent: None Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-41 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT N0. 113 - "MIDDLE" PINETREE POND WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on December 15, 1980, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the dredging of the "Middle" Pinetree Pond; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Cle-k :!sal prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Coni+ruction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such imn-t woment under such approved plans and specifi- cations. The advertisement shall be published for two days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 1981, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of th, amount of such bid.
