HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-031CITY OF PLYMOUTH` Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held the 5th day of y, 19 81 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ]members-ounciHoyt• Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: _none Counilmm rHovt introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 31 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A POLICY RELATING TO ORIENTATION OF COMMISSIONERS TO CITY ADVISORY COMMISSIONS WHEREAS, City ordinance provides for the creation of a Board of Adjustment and Appeal, Planning, Park and Recreation, and Human Rights Commission; and WHEREAS, each commission and board is charged with certain responsibilities by ordinance; and WHEREAS, representatives to the advisory commissions are residents serving on a voluntary basis; and WHEREAS, the Council finds its prudent to set forth a detailed orientation program to better enable resident commissioners to assume their commission responsibilities; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that it should and hereby does adopt a Policy Relating to the Orientation of Commissioners to City Commission,; dated January 5, 1981. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coun ilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the 761lowing voted to favor thereof- flavor Davenport.
