HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-025Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re uiar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M1nnesota, was he don the 5th day of January , 19 81 . The following members . were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen. The following members were absent: None Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 25 APPOINTING OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR CITY FUNDS FOR 1981 WHEREAS, State Statutes require that the City designate general depositories for City monies; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following be designated as official general depositories for 1981 for the City of Plymouth: The First Bank of Minneapolis, the First National Bank of Wayzata, the Metropolitan State . Bank of Plymouth, and the Wayzata Bank and Trust. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following be designated as official depositories for the City's temporary investment program for 1981: The Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, the New Hope State Bank of New Hope, the First Bank of St. Paul, the First Federal Savings & Loan of Wayzata;'the Twin City Federal Savings and Loan, the North- western National Bank of Minneapolis, the'Northwestern National Bank of St. Paul, the American National Bank of St. Paul, the Northwestern State Bank Northwest, the Wayzata Bank and Trust Company of Wayzata, F & M Savings Bank of Minneapolis, and Northwestern National Bankwest. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the designation of the foregoing depositories are contingent upon receipt by the City of Plymouth of evidence of suffi- cient collateral in the amount and kinds as required by the State Statutes. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coulicilm or 4F.J151 , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: -Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against orabstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly ­passed an -a-opted.
