Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
Sth day of January , 19 81 . The following members
were present: Mayor Javenpor , Counci mem ers Hoyt; '`veils, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-22
CREATING POSITION OF FIRE INSPECTOR,
WHEREAS, the City Manager in his report dated January 2, 1981 has recommended
that the position of full time Fire Chief be deleted and that a Fire Inspector
position be created;
NOW, THEREFORE BE -IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that the Fire Chief position as authorized in the 1981 budget be and the same
is hereby deleted; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a Fire Inspector position be created.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that $8,5 U be transferred from Account 601 to Account 602 in
the Fire Department budget and $20,000 from Account 601 in the Fire Department
budget to Account 601 in the Inspection Division budget.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davennort, Councilmembers Hoyt
Neils Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against orabstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
