RESOLUTION NO. 201-220
APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
AND THE PLYMOUTH HISTORICAL SOCIETY
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth owns the property at 3605 Fernbrook Lane, which
houses the Old Town Hall and Carriage House buildings; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Historical Society uses this site for its meetings, museums, and
related Historical Society activities; and
WHEREAS, the attached lease agreement specifies the responsibilities associated with
the property; and
WHEREAS, the Historical Society will procure and maintain liability insurance in the
amount of $1,000,000 with the City of Plymouth named as co-insured; and
WHEREAS, the existing agreement expires on July 8, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the new lease agreement shall commence on July 9, 2013 and end on July 9,
2023; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to sign
the Agreement on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
