APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT TO
SECTION 21465.07 TO ALLOW TUTORING/LEARNING CENTERS AS A PERMITTED
USE IN THE C-3 (HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL) ZONING DISTRICT (201 3041
WHEREAS, the Brightmont Academy has requested an amendment to the C-3
(highway commercial) zoning district to allow tutoring/learning centers as a permitted
use; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text
amendment at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
the zoning ordinance text amendment, based upon the finding that the proposed
amendment would be consistent with the city's comprehensive plan and with the city's
ordinances and policies.
