RESOLUTION No. 2013-184
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT
FOR THE FERNDALE NORTH LIFT STATION REHABILITATION
CITY PROJECT NO. 12028
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Ferndale North Lift station
Rehabilitation, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Base Bid
GM Contracting, Inc.
$361,484.60
Minger Constriction, Inc.
$450,000.00
Penn Contracting, Inc.
$496,800.00
Engineer's Estimate
$499,000.00
WHEREAS, it appears GM Contracting, Inc. of Lake Crystal, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are herby
authorized
and directed to enter into contract for the bid with GM Contracting, Inc. of Lake Crystal,
Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Ferndale North Lift Station according to
the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of
the City Engineer in the amount of $361,484.60.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the fiinding for this project shall be from the
Sewer Fund in the amount of $448,232.00.
