RESOLUTION NO. 2004-172
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
2004 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 4102
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council on August 26, 2003 and November 10,
2003 the Design Division of the City Engineering Division has prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of streets as follows:
• the area of Kingsview Lane and 4t1i Avenue, north of Gleason Lake Road,
• the area east of County Road 101 and north of the Luce Line Trail, including 5th
Avenue, 6th Avenue, Kimberly Lane, and the adjacent cul-de-sacs,
by reconstruction of streets with the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter
repair, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City Engineer's
office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in
The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published three times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that
bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on May 24, 2004 at which
time they will be publicly opened in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the
City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the
City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
