RESOLUTION NO. 2004-161
DESIGNATING POLLING LOCATION FOR
CITY PRECINCTS 2 AND 4
WHEREAS, residents in Precinct 2 currently vote at St. Barnabus Lutheran Church, 15600 Old
Rockford Road, for City elections; and
WHEREAS, residents in Precinct 4 currently vote at the Ice Center, 3650 Plymouth Boulevard,
for City elections; and
WHEREAS, the Ice Center has posed difficulties for voters with access to the site; and
WHEREAS, Providence Academy, 15100 Schmidt Lake Road, has willingly offered their facility
for voting purposes, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Providence Academy would be a suitable site for voting
for Precincts 2 and 4 due its unique location in respect to the precincts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Providence Academy, 15100 Schmidt Lake Road, is
hereby designated as the polling location for Precincts 2 and 4 for all City elections.
Adopted by the City Council on April 27, 2004.
