RESOLUTION NO. 2004-137
APPROVAL OF HOT MIX ASPHALT BIDS FOR 2004
WHEREAS, the City Council has given budget approval for the purchase of hot mix asphalt
materials for 2004 and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared specifications, advertised, received bids, and opened bids on
March 23, 2004 and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that we accept the bids from Commercial Asphalt
Company, C.S. McCrossan Constriction Inc., Bituminous Roadways and Buffalo Bituminous and
that the supplier utilized will be the one with the lowest price per ton after adding the cost per mile
($1.93) to pick up the material.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that the fiinding will come from the three Maintenance Division
budgets, primarily the Street Division, but also Park Maintenance and the Sewer and Water
Divisions.
