RESOLUTION NO. 2004-102
AUTHORIZING DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND
RECREATION TO IMPLEMENT 2004 PARK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has recommended various
projects for the year 2004 throughout the park system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recently adopted the city-wide 2004-2008 capital
improvements budget; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation is recommending implementation of
the following projects:
replacing Ridgemount tennis courts
replacing Oakwood irrigation
replacing Lions Park playground
replacing Ridgemount warming house
replacing monument entrance signs
purchasing new picnic tables
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that
the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the implementation of
the projects outlined in the memorandum dated March 1, 2004, and fiirther, that fiinding
is approved as shown in the adopted 2004 capital improvements program.
Adopted by the City Council on March 9, 2004.
