RESOLUTION NO. 2004-069
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON TUESDAY, MARCH 9, 2004
RELATING TO THE PROPOSED SALE OF LAND AT THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF NORTHWEST BOULEVARD AND SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD, PID
# 10-118-22-42-0001
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth owns the above referenced property, which it acquired
as part of the Schmidt Lake road constriction in 1992; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is required by its Charter to hold a public hearing to
consider the sale of any real estate owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, The Plymouth City Council has determined that it is the appropriate time to
sell this property given the pending development directly to the south; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it hereby calls a public hearing
for Tuesday, March 9, 2004 relating to the proposed sale of land at the southwest corner
of Northwest Boulevard and Schmidt Lake Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directes staff to recommend a
process and criteria relating to the sale and development of this site, for consideration by
the Council at the Public Hearing.
Adopted by the Plymouth City Council on February 10, 2004.
