HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-045CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2004-045 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR THE POTENTIAL USE OF CITY FACILITIES WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need under Homeland Security to evaluate and prepare for various possibilities including the prevention and control of communicable diseases; and WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the best interests of the community to participate and cooperate with Hennepin County Public Health on this program; and WHEREAS, the City agrees to allow facilities under the control of the City to be potentially used for public health and disease prevention and control activities in the best interests of the community, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to enter into an agreement with the Hennepin County Human Services Department for the potential use of the facilities. Adopted by the City Council on January 27, 2004.
