RESOLUTION NO. 2005-486
APPROVING CONCEPT PLAN FOR ZACHARY PARK MODIFICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth intends to upgrade the Zachary Park Playfield during
the summer of 2006; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth/New Hope Little League has requested modifications to said
park to better meet their needs; and
WHEREAS, a draft plan has been put together that meets the needs of the Little League
and the other park users; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth/New Hope Little League has agreed to fiindraise $250,000 for
said project,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that
the modified plan for Zachary Park is hereby approved, and further, that the fundraising
financial commitment of $250,000 is also approved, and further, that the City Attorney's
Office shall draft an agreement between the Plymouth/New Hope Little League and the
City of Plymouth for the usage of the park and the funding for the park improvement.
Said agreement shall be brought back to the City Council before constriction is to begin.
