HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2005-477CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2005-477 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS FROM THE TARGET GREATLAND TO BE USED TO DEVELOP INFORMATIONAL BROCHURES IN OTHER LANGUAGES WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is experiencing a larger immigrant population where English is not their language, and WHEREAS, in many instances, this sector of the population is not aware of many programs and services available to them within the City; and WHEREAS, Target Greatland has made available one thousand two hundred dollars in grant fiinds towards the cost of producing and printing brochures in other languages. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution accepting the grant fiinds from Target Greatland in the amount of $1,200 and designate it for use in the production and printing of informational brochures in alternate languages. Adopted by the City Council on December 13, 2005.
