RESOLUTION NO. 2005-433
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 3 AND FINAL
NEIGHBORHOOD FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 3126
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and G.L. Contracting, Inc., as contractor,
have entered into an agreement for the Neighborhood Flood Control Project, City Project
No. 3126, said agreement being dated May 10, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division has certified acceptance of the work and approval
of the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $159,527.28. The work to date is
$155,017.94 and is herewith approved. This project does not exceed the
contract amount, and is 2.8% less than the original contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Neighborhood Flood
Control Project (3 126) and certified to the Council by the Engineering
Division as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
Engineering Division as acceptable from the contract except as to the
conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner,
required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $17,172.09 to G.L.
Contracting, Inc. for the Neighborhood Flood Control Project is hereby
approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed
to pay the same forthwith.
