RESOLUTION NO. 2005-408
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
CITY CENTER STREET LIGHTING PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 4143
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on April 26, 2005 the City's
consultant Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for phase two of
the City Center street lighting improvement; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of decorative street lighting along 36th
Avenue between Vicksburg Lane and Plymouth Boulevard and along Vicksburg Lane between
36th Avenue and State Highway 55;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City Engineer's
office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in
The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published three times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that
bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on December 12, 2005 at
which time they will be publicly opened in the City Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota,
by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond
or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such
bid.
