RESOLUTION NO. 2005-402
APPROVAL OF PURCHASING ROAD SALT OFF THE
STATE OF MINNESOTA CONTRACT FOR THE 2005-06 SNOW SEASON
WHEREAS, the City strives to keep all streets snow and ice free; and
WHEREAS, the city needs to purchase chemicals to help the melting process; and
WHEREAS, the city can purchase sodium salt off the State Contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That we approve the purchasing of road salt for the snow
season of 2005 and 2006 from North American Salt Company for $37.21 per ton delivered,
Contract 4 434468
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That the fiinding for the road salt will be from 101-1612-6305.
Adopted by the City Council on October 25, 2005.
