HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2005-361CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2005-361 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 18240 HIGHWAY 55 (2005086) WHEREAS, Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group has requested reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to B -C (Business Campus) for the 0.83 -acre parcel of land located at 18240 Highway 55, presently legally described as follows: Lot 1 and the northwesterly '/z of Lot 2, Block 1, Osier Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; also, All that part of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 118, Range 22 lying northeasterly of State Highway 55 as now laid out and traveled and lying northwesterly of Osier Addition. Subject to an easement over a 15.0 strip of land lying adjacent to said State Highway 55, to be used for a service road. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to B -C (Business Campus). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to B -C (Business Campus) for 0.83 -acre parcel located at 18240 Highway 55, based on the following findings: The proposed rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans. Resolution 2005-361 (2005086) Page 2 2. The parcel would meet or exceed the standards of the B -C (Business Campus) zoning districtexcept that for lot area, for which a variance has been approved. 3. Adequate infrastructure is available to support B -C zoning and the development proposed for this site. ADOPTED by the City Council on September 27, 2005. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS.
