HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2005-356CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2005-356 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAXES PAYABLE IN 2006 WHEREAS, the City Council has preliminary approved the proposed operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 2006 and certain monies to finance said budgets are preliminary required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for 2006 as set out in the preliminary approved 2006 City budgets are hereby proposed to be levied: LEVY General Purpose General Fund $18,246,773 Market Value Credit Aid loss 634,691 Street Reconstruction 1,500,000 Mill & Overlay 47,000 Recreation Fund 623,569 Capital Improvement 327,818 Total General Purpose 21,379,851 Special Levies Activity Center Bonds 428,866 Open Space Bonds 251,835 2003 G.O. Street Reconstruction Bonds 178,553 2003 G.O. Improvement Bonds 419,036 2004 G.O. Capital Improvement Plan Bonds 601,342 Housing & Redevelopment Authority 540,297 Total Special Levies 2,419,929 Total All Levies $ 23,799,780 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before September 15, 2005.
