RESOLUTION 2005-343
AUTHORIZING A REALLOCATION OF CDBG FUNDS FROM THE 2003 AND 2004
HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAMS INTO THE 2004 FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER
PROGRAM
WHEREAS the City of Plymouth received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
funding that was allocated to the 2003 and 2004 Housing Rehabilitation Programs; and
WHEREAS on August 18, 2005, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority held a
duly constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express their opinion on the
reallocation of fiinds; and
WHEREAS there were no comments or testimony received from the public regarding the
reallocation of fiinds; and
WHEREAS the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth has determined
the following to be an appropriate use of Community Development Block Grant fiinds in
accordance with federal guidelines and the City's HUD approved Consolidated Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby authorizes the reallocation of CDBG funds from the
2003 and 2004 Housing Rehabilitation Programs into the 2004 First Time Homebuyer Program,
as follows:

2003 Housing Rehabilitation Program $37,524.48 $0.00
2004 Housing Rehabilitation Program $120,000.00 $57,524.48
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that CDBG program income may be used to cover expenses
generated in any existing CDBG program or activity and not just expenses related to the activity
generating the income.
