A RESOLUTION AMENDING AND RESTATING RESOLUTION NO. 98-390
ADOPTED ON JUNE 24, 1998, AND AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF THE
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE VACATED PART OF
COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY (CSAH) 9
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN PARKVIEW RIDGE
WHEREAS, the legal description identifying the vacated portion of CSAH 9 street right-of-way
in City of Plymouth Vacation Resolution No. 98-390, memorialized as Doc. No. 3074243, is
ambiguous. Specifically, two central angles are missing from the description.
WHEREAS, the street vacation pursuant to Plymouth City Council Resolution No. 98-390
affected Lots 1 through 9, Block 3, Parkview Ridge.
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Surveyor's Office has reviewed and approved the following
corrected legal description for the vacation:
The part of Hennepin County State Aid Highway No. 9, as dedicated in the plat of
PARKVIEW RIDGE, lying southerly of the following described line:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of Section 16, Township 118, Range 22; thence on an assumed bearing of South 0
degrees 02 minutes 10 seconds East, along the east line of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter, a distance of 25.31 feet to the actual point of beginning of the line
being described; thence westerly, along a non-tangential curve concave to the south
having a radius of 1855.87 feet, a central angle of 9 degrees 23 minutes 50 seconds, and
the chord of said curve bears North 89 degrees 48 minutes 25 seconds West, a distance
of 304.38 feet; thence South 85 degrees 29 minutes 41 seconds West a distance of
256.00 feet; thence westerly, along a tangential curve concave to the north having a
radius of 1964.20 feet and a central angel of 4 degrees 36 minutes 42 seconds, a

distance of 158.10 feet; thence North 89 degrees 53 minutes 31 seconds West, not
tangent to the last described curve, a distance of 31.24 feet; thence southwesterly, along
a tangential curve concave to the southeast, having a radius of 23.00 feet and a central
angel of 57 degrees 17 minutes 45 seconds, a distance of 17.68 feet to the northerly line
of said Block 3, and said line there terminating.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the legal description identified in
Resolution No. 98-390 adopted on June 24, 1998 for the vacation of a portion of CSAH 9 within
Parkview Ridge is hereby amended to read as follows:
