RESOLUTION 2005-285
APPROVING WHISTLEBLOWER POLICY
WHEREAS, a Whistleblower Policy is designed to encourage reporting of improper
conduct by an employee or official, and protects employees who report improper conduct,
and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared a Whistleblower Policy in accordance with
Minnesota Statute 181.932, and
WHEREAS, the policy is designed to protect such conduct and provide such remedies as
set forth in the Statute, and
WHERAS, the City Council has reviewed and agrees with the attached Policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, the attached Whistleblower Policy is hereby
adopted.
Adopted by the City Council on July 26, 2005.
