RESOLUTION NO. 2005-242
AWARD CONTRACT
REVERE LANE 6TH AVE. TO 10TH AVE. PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 4142
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Revere Lane 6t1' Ave. to 10t1' Ave. Project,
City Project No. 4142, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Engineer's Estimate
$340,000.00
WHEREAS, the low bid is 13% lower than the Engineer's Estimate; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Park Constriction Co. of Minneapolis, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Park Constriction Co. of
Minneapolis, MN; and
WHEREAS, Provident/Waterford LLC has agreed to be assessed $131,805;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the contract for the Base Bid with Park Constriction Co. of Minneapolis,
MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Revere Lane 6th Ave. to 10th Ave. Project, City
Project No. 4142, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $296,816.42.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. That the fiinding for this project shall be as follows:
Developer Deposits in General Fund $194,234
Down Payments in the Unfinanced Constriction Fund $ 76,303
Special Assessment $131,805
2. Bolton & Menk, Inc., is designated as the engineer and is ordered to perform constriction
administration for the Revere Lane 6th Ave. to 10th Ave. Project, CP 4142 for the not to
exceed amount of $39,369 and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the
Engineering Services Agreement;
