HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2005-236CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2005-236 APPROVING A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO INSTALL A GENERATOR FOR THE SUPERTARGET STORE LOCATED AT 4175 VINEWOOD LANE NORTH (2005053) WHEREAS, Energy Alternatives, is requesting approval of a site plan amendment to install a backup generator and related site improvements for the SuperTarget Store at 4175 Vinewood Lane North, for property legally described as: Lot 1, Block 1, Rockford Road Plaza, Hennepin County, Minnesota WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public meeting and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Energy Alternatives, for a site plan amendment for the SuperTarget Store located at 4175 Vinewood Lane North, subject to the following conditions: 1. A site plan amendment is approved to allow installation of a 1,500 -watt, 2,000 -gallon gas diesel backup generator, as well as a related site improvements, in accordance with the plans received by the City on May 3, 2005 and May 6, 2005, except as amended by this resolution. 2. A separate tank and building permit is required. 3. Prior to the issuance of building permits, the applicant submit revised plans identifying additional trees to be located to the northeast of the generator. 4. Prior to the issuance of building permits, the applicant submit revised plans to show a fence/wall to be located on top of the retaining wall where the height is greater than four feet. Following the installation of the stack, staff will work with the applicant to determine the need for additional trees to screen the residential properties to the north. 6. Monthly testing shall occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except weekends. 7. Approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started constriction of the project. The landowner or applicant may apply for approval of an extension by the City, as regulated under Section 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance. ADOPTED by the City Council on June 14, 2005.
