RESOLUTION NO. 2005-223
AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF CHARITABLE
GAMBLING FUNDS AND ADOPTING POLICY FOR
USAGE OF CHARITABLE GAMBLING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City receives a 10% fee from organizations conducting charitable
gambling within the City; and
WHEREAS, these fees may be used for lawful City purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and agrees with the purchase of four
defibrillators with these fiends; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and agrees with the attached Charitable
Gambling Funds Usage Policy,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Charitable Gambling Funds Usage Policy is
hereby adopted. Further, be it resolved, that this policy becomes effective after the
purchase of four defibrillators as directed by the City Council.
