RESOLUTION NO. 2005-177
APPROVING EXECUTION OF A NEW HENNEPIN HOUSING CONSORTUIM
JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY AND THE
CITIES OF BLOOMINGTON, EDEN PRAIRIE AND MINNETONKA
WHEREAS, the responsibility for management of the City of Plymouth's CDBG
Program has been delegated to the Plymouth HRA; and
WHEREAS, certain benefits are afforded to the City and the HRA in the management of
the CDBG and other HUD programs by the City's participation in the Hennepin Housing
Consortium; and
WHEREAS, continued participation in the Consortium requires that the City Council
approve execution of a new Consortium Joint Agreement effective October 1, 2005
through September 30, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the Mayor and City Manager
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a new Hennepin Housing Consortium Joint
Agreement with Hennepin County and the Cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie and
Minnetonka, effective October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2008, as required by
regulations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
