RESOLUTION NO. 2005-136
APPROVAL OF CONTRACTURAL PAVEMENT
MARKING CONTRACT FOR THE YEARS 2005 AND 2006
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved fiinds to contract with a pavement marking
company for 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared specifications and received and opened bids on March
3, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
BIDDER PRICE
AAA Striping Service Company $62,540.23 each year
United Rentals Hwy Technology, Inc. $58,271.17 each year
Traffic Marking Services, Inc. $57,998.39 each year
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid is accepted from Traffic Marking
Services, Inc. for $57,998.39 for each year of 2005 and 2006, subject to available fiinding
in 2006.
FURTHER, that the fiinding for the contractual pavement markings will be from 101-
1610-7511.
