RESOLUTION NO. 2005-122
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND CALLING FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING
CITY CENTER STREET LIGHTING PROJECT
VICKSBURG LANE/36TH AVENUE
CITY PROJECT NO. 4143
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 8, 2005, a
report has been prepared with respect to street lighting in City Center along Vicksburg
Lane and 36th Avenue as identified in the CIP for 2004; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the installation of decorative street
lighting on 36th Avenue and Vicksburg Lane, and all necessary appurtenances;
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on March 29, 2005;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated City Center Street Lighting Project, City Project
No. 4143 for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as
amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $174,900.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
26th day of April 2005 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
