RESOLUTION NO. 2005-095
APPROVING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR
MEDICINE LAKE CURLYLEAF TREATMENT PROJECT
AND ORDERING THE SECOND YEAR TREATMENT
CITY PROJECT NO. 4109
WHEREAS, the approved Medicine Lake Aquatic Vegetation Management Plan includes a three
year curlyleaf pondweed control project, and
WHEREAS, the first of the three year curlyleaf pondweed control was successfully carried out in
2004, and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared the Medicine Lake Curlyleaf Treatment Project Feasibility
Report, and
WHEREAS, the feasibility report has found the Medicine Lake Curlyleaf Treatment Project to
be feasible, necessary, and cost effective, and
WHEREAS, the project feasibility report recommends to continue and complete the second and
the third year of the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Accepts the Feasibility Report for Medicine Lake Curlyleaf Treatment Project
2. Orders the second year treatment.
