HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2005-062CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2005-062 APPROVING AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE MET COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL PARTNERSHIP GRANT CITY PROJECT NO. 4119E WHEREAS, the Met Council agreed to an amendment to Article VI, Timing Requirements of the Metropolitan Environmental Partnership Grant Agreement such that the Project Activity Period has been extended to March 1, 2006; and WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the City's consultant, URS Corporation, for the constriction of four raingardens as best management practices at four sites in the City of Plymouth commercial district and said plans and specifications have been presented to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The amendment to the agreement with the Met Council for the Metropolitan Environmental Partnership Grant, a copy of which is on file in the City Engineer's office and made a part hereof, is hereby approved; and 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a. m. on April 4, 2005 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Engineer and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
