RESOLUTION NO. 2005-057
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 10 AND FINAL
SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD BRIDGE & STREET
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 2021
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Lunda Constriction Company, as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Schmidt Lake Road Bridge and Street
Improvements Project, City Project No. 2021, said agreement being dated January 27,
2003; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $2,332,663.40. The value of the
work to date is $2,250,886.02 and is herewith approved. The final value
of work completed is less than the contract amount, by $81,777.38.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Schmidt Lake Road Bridge
and Street Improvements Project and certified to the Council by the
Engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 10 and Final in the amount of $5,000 to Lunda
Constriction Company for Schmidt Lake Road Bridge and Street
Improvements Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is
hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
