RESOLUTION NO. 2005-042
APPROVING 2005 MUNICIPAL RECYCLING GRANT APPLICATION AND
2004 MUNICIPAL RECYCLING FINAL REPORT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has adopted the funding assistance policy for source separated
recyclables to distribute fiends to the Cities for development and implementation of waste reduction
and recycling programs; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has set as a requirement that the City furnish a final report for 2004
and apply for the 2005 Municipal Recycling grant; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to receive these County fiends.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City submit the 2005 Municipal Recycling Grant
Application and 2004 Municipal Recycling Report to Hennepin County, and authorize the Mayor
or City Manager to sign the application in order to receive fiinds distributed for municipal
recycling programs.
