RESOLUTION NO. 2005-041
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARTION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
TIMBER CREEK EROSION CONTROL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 4137
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Plan approved by the City Council includes the
repair of a large gully called Timber Creek located north of 28th Avenue on the east side
of Medicine Lake; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project will reduce erosion and protect the water quality of
Medicine Lake; and
WHEREAS, a meeting with affected property owners has been held; and
WHEREAS, several concepts were investigated and the installation of storm sewer pipe
was chosen as the most effective, feasible and cost effective improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Improvement using storm sewer pipe is hereby ordered.
2. City of Plymouth staff will be designated as the Engineers for this project.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for making such improvements.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that fiinding for this project in the amount of $166,900
be from the Water Resources Fund.
Adopted by the City Council on February 8, 2005.
