HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2005-005CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2005-005 REVISION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2004-286 AWARDING BID LIFT STATION TELEMETRY SYSTEM UPGRADE CITY PROJECT NO. 3119 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Lift Station Telemetry System Upgrade and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received on June 17, 2004, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: MA1ox-AWN Instrument Control Systems, Inc. Automatic Systems Company Telemetry & Process Controls In Control, Inc. Wunderlich-Malec Environmental C3llex, LLC BASE BID ALTERNATE 1 $ 292,299 $ 6,000 295,000 5,000 439,955 -0- 456,302 6,000 478,147 -0- $506,600 $ 5,900 WHEREAS, Instrument Control Systems, Inc. of Plymouth, MN was the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2004-286 was adopted by the City Council on June 27, 2004 awarding the bid to Instrument Control System, Inc. in the amount of $292,299; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2004-286 inadvertently excluded Alternate 1 for the enhanced graphics package at an additional cost of $6,000; and WHEREAS, the current contract and required bonds reflect the amount of $298,299 and no revisions are necessary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Resolution No. 2004-286 is revised to include Alternate 1 at an additional cost of $6,000 to the base bid of $292,299 for a revised total contract amount of $298,299 between Instrument Control Systems, Inc. and the City of Plymouth. 2. Funding will be from the Sewer Trunk Fund in the amount of $372,900. Adopted by the City Council on January 11, 2005.
