RESOLUTION NO. 2006-495
DESIGNATING PLYMOUTH BOULEVARD AS AN URBAN DISTRICT
HIGHWAY 55 TO COUNTY ROAD 9
WHEREAS, the current speed limit on Plymouth Boulevard varies from 35 mph to 40
mph; and
WHEREAS, considerable development has occurred adjacent to the roadway over the
past five years; and
WHEREAS, Plymouth Boulevard from State Highway 55 to County Road 9 meets the
definition of an urban district as defined in state statute 169.01 subdivision 59; and
WHEREAS, the newly established speed limit of 30 mph is in accordance with the
procedures specified in state statute 169.14 subdivision 5b.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Plymouth Boulevard between State
Highway 55 and County Road 9 be designated as an urban district and be posted
accordingly at 30 mph.
