RESOLUTION NO. 2006-494
RECEIVING PROPOSALS AND DESIGNATING THE ENGINEER
FOR THE MS4 LOAD ASSESSMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 7108E
WHEREAS, such a MS4 Load Assessment Project needs an engineering computer-based model to
analyze, quantify, and identify specific component needs related to National Pollutant Discharge
Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II permits for source and non -point source pollution; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to three designated engineering firms, and plus one
additional company with similar City of Plymouth experience, that have expertise in studies for
environmental and drainage improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were received and evaluated by City staff, and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that Barr Engineering be designated as the engineer for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
Barr Engineering is designated as the City's consulting engineer for design and related services
for the MS4 Load Assessment Project, City Project 7108E. The estimated cost for the stated
services, per the RFP, is $27,000.
