RESOLUTION NO. 2006-492
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 3 AND FINAL
CITY CENTER SIGN PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 5120
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Environmental Associates, Inc. as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for the City Center Sign Project, City Project
No. 5120, said agreement was approved by the City Council on July 25, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $109,192.00, the contract was
amended on September 16, 2006 to $111,392.00 and the value of the work
to date is $111,392.00 and is herewith approved.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the City Center Sign Project
No. 5120 and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being
the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions
of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $5,569.60 to
Environmental Associates, Inc. for the City Center Sign Project, City
Project No. 5120 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is
hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. Funding will be
from the Project Administration Fund and the Capital Improvement Fund.
