HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2006-471CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2006-471 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT FOR 2007 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 7101 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Plymouth, Minnesota: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Narcissus Lane from -1 Avenue to the cul-de-sac north of 6th Avenue, 4t1' and 6th Avenue, from Narcissus Lane to the cul-de-sac west, Merrimac Lane from Narcissus Lane to 5t1' Avenue, 5t1' Avenue from County Road 101 to Narcissus Lane, -1 Avenue from County Road 101 to 2"a Avenue, and 2"a Avenue from -1 Avenue to the cul-de-sac south, filed with the council on June 15, 2004, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minn. Stat § 429.035. 2. It is proposed to improve -1 Avenue from 2"a Avenue to the cul-de-sac west of Queensland Lane, Queensland Lane from the Luce Line Trail to the cul-de-sac north of 6th Avenue, Queensland Court and 2" a Avenue cul-de-sacs east of Queensland Lane and 2" a Avenue west of Queensland Lane, which will be included with the petition area and will be assessed to the benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and that person is instnicted to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. Adopted by the City Council on November 28, 2006.
