APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT
AMENDMENT TO ALLOW TUTORING/LEARNING CENTERS IN THE CC -R
(CITY CENTER RETAIL) ZONING DISTRICT BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

WHEREAS, Reprise Design Inc. has requested an amendment to allow tutoring/learning
centers in the CC -R (City Center Retail) zoning district by conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendment at a
duly called public hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a
Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based upon the following findings:
1. The proposed amendment would be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan,
and with the City's ordinances and policies.
2. The proposed amendment would allow a tutoring/learning center in the CC -R (City
Center Retail) zoning district by conditional use permit, provided that the use complies
with Section 21015.04 of the Zoning Ordinance.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 14"' day of November, 2006.
