HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2006-361CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2006-361 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAX PAYABLE 2007 WHEREAS, the City Council has given preliminary approval to the proposed operating budgets for calendar year 2007. The proposed budgets require monies to be raised from property taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by property tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for taxes payable in 2007 as set out in the preliminary 2007 Budget. Special Levies Activity Center Bonds 2007 Property General Purpose Tax Levy General Fund $19,914,955 Market Value Cr. Aid -State Aid Cut 560,000 Street Reconstruction 2,000,000 Mill & Overlay 47,000 Recreation Fund 638,735 Capital Improvement Fund 337,653 Total General Purpose $ 23,498,343 Special Levies Activity Center Bonds $ 432,226 2003 Open Space Refunding 252,123 2003 Street Reconstruction Bonds 180,968 2004 Street Reconstruction Bonds 423,270 2004 Public Safety Bonds 598,087 HRA 503,617 Total Special Levies 2390,291 Total Levies $ 25,888,633 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed property tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before September 15, 2006. Adopted by the City Council on September 12, 2006.
