RESOLUTION NO. 2006-323
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A JOINT
POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE CITIES INVOLVED IN THE
NORTHWEST METRO DRUG TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department is part of the Northwest Metro
Drug Task Force (NWMDTF), which is comprised of the following cities: St. Louis Park,
New Hope, Crystal, Robbinsdale, Golden Valley, Hopkins and Plymouth
WHEREAS, the cities within the NWMDTF are entering into a Joint Powers
Agreement as directed by the State of Minnesota
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement requires a signed agreement between the
seven cities prior to its enactment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNEASOTA, that the City Council authorizes the
Mayor and City Manager to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement between the NWMDTF,
and the City of Plymouth.
