RESOLUTION NO. 2006-322
AWARD CONTRACT
2006 TEMPORARY OVERLAY PROJECT -PHASE 2
CITY PROJECT NO. 6134
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2006 Temporary Overlay
Project -Phase 2, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

FPI Paving Contractors, Inc.

Northwest Asphalt, Inc.
$ 115,406.21
Engineer's Estimate
$ 120,000.00
WHEREAS, it appears that FPI Paving Contractors, Inc. of St. Paul, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the bid with FPI Paving
Contractors, Inc. of St. Paul, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 2006
Temporary Overlay Project -Phase 2 according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount
of $113,628.60.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the fiinding for this project shall
be from the 2006 Budget under the Seal Coating line item in the amount of $135,000.
